Privacy Policy
This policy describes what limited information VYPER collects when you visit the website, connect a wallet, or interact with the VYP token. VYPER is a non-custodial, blockchain-based protocol — most of your activity is recorded on a public blockchain, not by us.
1. Information you provide
The website does not require an account. You may voluntarily provide information by subscribing to the newsletter (email address only) or by emailing the team. Any email submitted is used solely to send updates you opted into.
2. Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp) generated by our hosting provider.
- Anonymous aggregate analytics (page views, region, device class) to understand site usage.
- When you connect a wallet, your public wallet address and on-chain activity become visible to us in the same way they are visible to anyone on the relevant blockchain.
3. On-chain data is public
Transactions involving the VYP smart contracts are permanently recorded on a public blockchain. We do not control, and cannot modify, that data. Anyone with your public address can view your balance, transfers, mints, and burns using a block explorer.
4. Third-party services
The website uses or may use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Hosting and analytics: Vercel.
- Wallet connection: Reown AppKit and any wallet provider you choose to connect through it.
- RPC and indexing: public Ethereum / Base RPC endpoints and our own indexer.
- Block explorers: Etherscan, Basescan, and similar.
5. Cookies
The site uses only the cookies strictly needed to operate the frontend and remember your wallet connection within a session. We do not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies.
6. Your choices
- You can browse the site without connecting a wallet or providing any personal data.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the link in any email.
- You can clear your browser storage and disconnect your wallet at any time to end the session.
7. Children
The website and VYP token are not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the official VYPER channels. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
